Meet Criss, CD (Certified ProDoula), Prenatal Instructor at St. Jude Wellness
I'm the mom of two sons, 30 and 27, born via the Bradley Method, and a new grandma to a baby boy born at home with a midwife. I was consumed with fear when I first became pregnant, until I met my childbirth educator and doula, Kathi. She taught me, empowered me, and stayed by my side through the most beautiful birth journey I could have imagined. After experiencing the power of the doula in my own life, I became passionate about supporting women (especially those who may be fearful) through their pregnancy. Whether you choose a hospital birth or a home birth, I'll empower you to see your options and choices, and be a peaceful, calming presence to you and your partner. I look forward to meeting you.
Full Doula Support: $1800.00
- Free initial interview (facetime or zoom) to meet and discuss your goals, and see how I might be of assistance.
- Two prenatal visits where we will discuss evidence-based birth resources, create birth preferences that align with your personal values, practice comfort measures and techniques to support optimal fetal positioning in labor and birth, and have plenty of time to talk about your concerns and fears.
- Available text/phone throughout your pregnancy.
- Continuous support at the onset of labor. (If an emergency arises and I am unavailable to attend your birth, I will arrange for a partner Doula.)
- Basic photos at birth if desired, and birth notes.
- One postpartum visit.
Prenatal and Postpartum Support:
For women who do not desire a doula at the birth, I offer three, 1.5 hour meetings for $600.00:
- Two prenatals as described in Full Doula Support.
- One postpartum meeting.
- Available text/phone throughout your pregnancy.

What is a doula?
As a birth doula I am a certified birth professional who provides continuous physical, emotional, and informational support to a woman and her partner before, during and just after birth. I specialize in techniques that are known to shorten labor, ease labor discomfort, assist with correct positioning of your baby and so much more!
